...and now for something completely different
I am going with a little bit different format tonight. My friend Mike has passed me the smell baton. So in keeping with his new meme, I will add my two scents!
(Get it, it's a play on words...nevermind!)
So for your reading pleasure here is the Misadventure Theatre's presentation of:
What are you smelling?
Total Volume of smells
I would say my volume of smells is rather small. The smell of something affects me greatly, so I try to keep my smell environment as balanced as possible. Take my cube for instance, I try to keep it as smell-neutral as possible. Kind of like the Switzerland of smells really. I pull it off most times, unless I leave too many old lunches in my file cabinet...ew!
The last smell I bought
My honda just reached the 100k mark and I took it in have the timing belt replaced and the standard hundred thousand mile maintenence done. When I got the car back, it smelled like a Les Scwhab Tire Store. For some primal reason, that is very comforting to me. I am no mechanic (If you read this blog for long you will know why). So this smell serves as a confirmation of a job well done. I will never be sure if they actually serviced my car or they just had the Michelin Man drive it around for a couple of hours.
Smell Smelling Right Now
Actually nothing. I am in my home office (which is also very smell neutral). Think of it as little Switzerland.
Five Smells I Smell a Lot that Mean a Lot to Me
1. My Gramma's Macaroni and Cheese - For obvious reasons
2. My kid's strawberry bubble bath - The absolute best reason to have a jetted tub
3. Airplane Fuel + Airport - Means I am going somewhere
4. I have to go with Mike on this one: Brownies!
5. Skipper's Clam Chowder - My kids favorite place to eat
Just like the game telephone I am going to add to the meme:
Two smells I hate
1. Burnt Microwave Popcorn - Nuff said
2. Bob's Fridge at work - This is the smell of true fear. I am pretty sure it's what the Dark Side Tree on Dagoba smelled like in The Empire Strikes Back!
Three People Whom I'm Passing the Baton
Besides Mike I personally only know three people with blogs, so here you go guys!
Russell Neville - Nice Easy Lob
Victor Asteinza - Is that the smell of burnt hair?
Chad Eickhoff - March 2004? C'mon my man!
(Get it, it's a play on words...nevermind!)
